Structured Steel performs balcony inspections throughout CA.  Our goal is to get you compliant with SB 721 & SB326 by the end of the year and to re-inspect your property every 6 years as required by SB721.  Our inspections are focused solely on the requirements of SB 326 & SB721 which requires the inspection of Elevated Exterior Elements (EEE's) which include balconies, decks, porches, stairs, handrails and any other element which protrudes from the building and is designed to support an occupant.  In addition to a visual inspection covering the structural supporting members, the flashing, waterproofing membranes, stucco and sealants of the EEE's will be inspected to ensure there is no jeopardizing of the vapor barrier which could potentially lead to a future failure.  While most EEE's require no attention, some which pose an immediate hazard to human safety would be noted and repair would be required.
